The Kingfisher plot

The kingfisher sits in Sir Cecil's (Rex Harrison) garden. Fifty years ago he saw one too, with Lady Evelyn (Wendy Hiller), whom he was madly in love with, but he married another. Just today her husband dies and she visits him to catch up, while the butler looks on skeptically. A new spring can begin for Sir Cecil.
