Love Always, Santa plot
Celia Banks' life revolves around her 7-year-old daughter, Lilly. Celia lost her husband three years ago and has since given up hope of a new lover. However, Lily does not want her mother to be alone during the Christmas season and writes a letter to Santa. Jake Platt, a children's author, receives the letter. Jake has no inspiration for a new story, but Lilly's letter changes that. He also sends a letter to Celia. A romance soon develops between the two.
