Lost Place plot
Seventeen-year-old Daniel meets the equally old Elli during an internet chat. Both are very enthusiastic about geocaching, a kind of electronic treasure hunt, in which one has to solve puzzles and with the help of a GPS device find the coordinates that show the way to a kind of 'treasure'. Daniel brings his friend Thomas along for their first scavenger hunt. Elli has her friend Jessica by her side. Their treasure hunt takes the teenagers through the Palatinate Forest. Daniel manages to pique Elli's interest during the expedition, while Jessica takes pleasure in athletic Thomas. But the idyllic autumn day comes to an abrupt end when a mysterious man in a radiation suit appears. The four do not believe his warnings against an invisible danger in this part of the forest. But when Jessica suddenly disappears, that changes the situation.
