Der Unheimliche Mönch plot
The strangest things happen in Darkwood slot. While the lord of the house is not yet dead, the family is already vying for the inheritance. Just before he dies, he changes his will in favor of his daughter. She has to run the girls' boarding house that is located in the castle. His niece, Gwendolin, also gets a share of the inheritance. His two sons get nothing. Not long after, strange things happen: girls disappear, a monk figure haunts the dark forest, corpses that have been strangled are found. Inspector Bratt of Scotland Yard must solve this mystery.
