Enjoying the best rock band ever for two hours, I can only appreciate that highly. Not that Scorsese didn't influence my assessment, because it's all beautifully portrayed, but it's the Stones who make the film of course. Buddy Guy's guest appearance gave me goosebumps, what an artist!

The deception Richards.

With little documentary and a little too funny Scorsese.

Still, the concert itself is very well portrayed. And the music of the Stones, in general, is very well performed. But hey, they're doing it themselves, not Scorsese.

Low point is Richards who turns out to be just a shadow of himself. He has completely lost Rifjes, joins in just a little too late with almost every song and then he also starts singing along with Jagger out of tune. Then he is allowed to do two songs, Jagger leaves the stage. The first is fun, the second an insult to everyone. Scorsese tries to hide things during this song by showing short interviews from the old box. But to no avail. Richard is merciless (also pay attention during the brief shots of the audience during this second song). He is already finally outplayed (especially in a vocal sense) by Guy, to whom he donates his guitar on the spot . If only he had so much self-knowledge while ascending this stage. Hardly follow the Stones, but can assume he doesn't do this more often. During this concert it is often just a matter of waiting to see what the addicted guitarist will do. And most of it isn't really pretty. And because to see and especially to hear you really don't have to be called Jan Akkerman.

Still, the whole concert is absolutely worth seeing, and the work of Scorsese is craftsmanship. However, the documentary part is nothing and is only fun for the real fans.

Good.

Seen it for the second time and I don't have to drastically change my opinion. It remains a fine registration of the concert in question.
