"The newest, most frantic fad! - a jazzed-up, mixed-up musical that's got"

Helen (Shapiro) and Craig (Douglas) are eager to spread the word about a new fad: jazz. Some older people find this type of music a disgrace and try to thwart the younger ones. Helen and Craig decide to go to a television studio in London to hire Acker Bilk and his jazz band to perform in their old-fashioned village.
