Jane isn't the first reporter for a Malaysian newspaper to investigate the mysterious murders of young women spanning twenty years. Her research shows that during the Second World War, Japanese soldiers took a group of hostages with them. These have never returned. As she gets deeper and deeper into the case, the "unknown" comes after her. Will she be the next victim?
