New York City is plagued by harsh weather conditions during the summer months. Everything, including the inhabitants, is being frozen in record time. This turns out to be the work of an artifact that has unleashed dark forces on the world. The original Ghostbusters join forces with the newer generation to prevent another Ice Age.
