Rapunzel plot
During her pregnancy, Mutter (Antje Westermann) sees rapons, a kind of lamb's lettuce, in the neighbor's garden and has her husband steal it. When he's caught, he promises the next-door neighbor, the Wicked Witch (Suzanne Von Borsody), the unborn child. That turns out to be a girl and they name her after the lamb's lettuce: Rapunzel. She is taken by the witch immediately after birth, and when she is twelve years old, she is locked in a high tower. The witch can only get to Rapunzel (Luisa Wietzorek) through the hair, which is so long that it reaches the floor. Later, Prince (Jaime Ferkic) also manages to climb up, lured by her singing.
