Pietje Bell 2: De Jacht op de Tsarenkroon plot
Martha, Pietje's sister, is getting engaged to journalist Paul Velinga. To celebrate this, a big snowball fight is held in which a diamond at drugstore Geelman is broken. Shortly afterwards, there is a burglary and Pietje is blamed. He is lifted from his bed and ends up in prison. There Pietje meets the crooks who were put behind bars by the gang of the Black Hand.

This is a nice follow-up to the first part and it's really not inferior to it. Just like in the first part, there are many nostalgic and many funny parts in it. My daughter is always upset about Joost who stands with his bare ass in the sea. That shows what kind of jokes they all are, but for children these kinds of things are the best. If you also like the first part, you won't go wrong with this one.

Kind of the same level as part 1.
*0.5 deduction for the number of curses,
doesn't really need a movie like that.
Ederveen remains a highlight, by the way.
