Dry British version of a story that has been filmed many times with similar storylines.
The film is entertaining because it doesn't take itself too seriously, the boy can act nicely and the bond with his dad is convincing enough.
It is a pity that there is not much to see of delivering packages, I often find this an interesting concept.
Nothing special, but looks nice.

Santa Claus [Jim Broadbent] crashes into the garage of newly released Steve Anderson [Rafe Spall]. As if that wasn't bad enough, the police mistake him for a burglar and he ends up in jail! While the prison barber [Stephen Graham] teaches Santa how to hold his own among the hardened criminals, Steve [Rafe], under pressure from his young son Tom [Kit Connor], tries to come up with a plan to get Santa out of jail and bring Christmas back to life. to save. Merry Christmas comedy is not always in good taste (the fart joke with the reindeer is an example of this) but it still appears to have its heart in the right place. But the absolute asset is Broadbent who is nothing short of perfect as the teased, friendly and always believable Santa Claus.

Get Santa is a Christmas movie that looks great. Don't expect a topper, then you're certainly in the right place to give some shape to the Christmas atmosphere.
