'A Yangtze Landscape' uses a non-narrative style and starts from the mouth of the Yangtze in Shanghai. We follow the river to its origin in Qinghai/Tibet, a distance of many thousands of kilometers. Experimental music and environmental noise accompany the magical-realistic images, where the people are merely decorative figures in a traditional Chinese landscape.
