Zwischen den Jahren plot
Years ago he was sentenced to life in prison, but now the taciturn, somewhat plump Becker is being released from prison. His old life and his cruel deed are long gone and now all he wants to do is start a new life. In the company where he finds a job, he meets cleaning lady Rita, whom he timidly approaches. But then Dahlman shows up, the man whose life he's destroyed. Becker's past seems to be catching up with him after 18 years.
