Yongseobadji Mothan Ja plot
"I just wanted to be a good man."
Lee Seung-yeong is a young man just starting his 26-month military service in the Korean army. Lee finds the very strict regime degrading. He is relieved when he meets an acquaintance: Yu Tae-jeong attended the same school as Lee and is now a soldier in a higher rank. Yu immediately makes it clear that their friendship is not meant to be known to the others, but does give him tips on how to better deal with the often aggressive and abusive officers. A close friendship develops between them.
