Wintergasten plot

Slightly ironic drama inspired by the comedies of Anton Chekhov. The film is about a group of friends in their thirties who traditionally meet in a holiday home on Vlieland. During the holidays, mutual relationships are severely disrupted and each of them is confronted with repressed ideals and desires. The dreams they cherished as sixteen-year-olds appear to be a thing of the past. Even Thomas, the hero who left ten years ago and would make something of his life, turns out to be a wreck.
