Wild Horses plot

Country singer Matt Cooper (Kenny Rogers) is a former rodeo champion. Matt heads to Wyoming to round up feral horses, sponsored by the government. The horses must be collected, but he cannot guess what the real purpose turns out to be. He discovers a plot in which the wild horses are taken to the slaughterhouse, to be processed into canned goods. Meanwhile, he falls in love with a rancher's daughter.
