Vera Brühne plot
In the spring of 1960, the bodies of Dr. Dietrich Schwarz and his housekeeper in his villa near Munich. Initially it is thought that the doctor first killed his housekeeper and then took his own life. However, autopsy shows that there is still a second bullet in Schwarz's head. Schwarz's son suspects his father's mistress, Vera Brühne, as she inherits a house in Spain. In a curious trial, Vera Brühne and her alleged accomplice are sentenced to life imprisonment. Many years later, a young lawyer finds many strange things in Vera Brühne's file, in which the influence of all kinds of politicians is noticeable. Is Vera Brühne responsible for the two murders?
