Valentina plot

1939, Southern France. In a prison camp for Spanish Republicans, prisoner of war José Carcés tries to survive by finding something to hold on to in his memories. Thanks to his memories of Valentina, his impossible childhood sweetheart, he keeps hope in the hell he lives in. He thinks back to 1911, when he was 12 years old and fell in love with her, to their families' reservations about their friendship, to the disturbing shadow of her parents, and to his teacher Mosén Joaquín, the only one who could see him and his love. before Valentina understood.
