Das Finstere Tal plot
End of the 19th century. A stranger on horseback and a donkey rides into a sleepy remote village in an Alpine valley. The path to the village is little more than a weathered footpath between the rocks. To escape the cold winter, he asks the close-knit community to stay with them. But at night a heavy snow storm rages and the next day the whole village is cut off from the outside world. The residents wear it resignedly and continue with their daily activities, until suddenly a series of murders ravage the village. After all, the valley is not as innocent as it seems.
