Billy Thompson is a young DJ in a rural Nebraska town. His greatest wish is to make a career in the dance world of Los Angeles. Billy travels to the big city to enter the international DJ contest with a top prize of $50,000! There he meets Maya, a dancer from New York. She supports him in his battle against countless other up-and-coming DJ talents who will do anything for the top prize.
