Toz Bezi plot
In a 'neighborhood stand' in the Asian part of Istanbul, the young Kurdish Nesrin and her older, also Kurdish friend Hatun, work as cleaning women. The timid and nervous Nesrin has kicked her husband out after an argument. It was meant as a warning, but he has not returned. The financial problems are now starting to pile up for her and her daughter Asmin. The sarcastic Hatun, on the other hand, still has dreams: a house of his own. Her husband is of no use to her, she knows that, so as a Muslim she even visits a Christian church to pray for her dream.
