Tormentero plot
Romero Kantún is a retired fisherman who often thinks back nostalgically to a life he never had. He believes it is time to regain the love and honor he lost decades ago when he discovered a huge oil field. This brought the end of fishing on his island and he was consequently spat out by the fishermen.
