Diana Boyce-Smith learns that her father has passed away and rushes to his grand mansion in England. There she discovers that an American has rented a house from her father and a romance soon ensues between the two. Richard Bogard, the American, then joins the RAF when World War I breaks out. Diana is left alone with two of her childhood friends who she also has feelings for.
