The Wheel plot

Ted Morton's wealthy parents are concerned about his gambling problem. They want him to marry and start a family. When he chooses the simple milliner Kate O'Hara as his bride, his father is so angry that he disinherits him. Ted perseveres anyway and starts working as a car salesman. Kate's ex-boyfriend owns a gambling den, and he wants to win her back by fueling Ted's gambling addiction.
