"A veil of a tale."
Best friends Avery, Emma and Tracy have known each other since art school and are now each rapidly climbing the career ladder in their field. Avery is a curator at an art museum, Emma a college professor in Chicago, and Tracy an appraiser at an auction house in New York City. During their annual weekend getaway, they come across an Italian bridal veil from the 19th century. The ladies are not only enchanted by the beauty, but also by the legend that the owner will come into contact with true love. They decide to buy the veil as a group and Avery gets to have the veil first. At work, she soon encounters new opportunities and a handsome man she's met before...
