The Very Thought of You plot
Sgt. David Stewart (Dennis Morgan) takes a short leave of absence from his military job and ends up in Pasadena, where he meets a Janet Wheeler (Eleanor Parker). They fall in love and soon decide to get married. David has to go back to the war alone and it remains to be seen whether he will return home safely.
