Seen a lot of mediocre stuff lately but I was quite impressed with this movie. The story sat well and I watched each other attentively for 2 hours.

Typical American weather. It seems as if they have not evolved in America in the field of film, because it could just as well have been a 1996 film in terms of plot, dialogues and acting. Especially in how people react to each other. For example, if Bullock and her lawyer's wife are arguing outside the house, I just flushed that part to the next scene, what American smoothness. I have also completely had that difficult view of those American actresses.
The plot is actually as transparent as can be; that one guy who catches his brother in his wife's bed, the wrong girl who gets kidnapped.. It's those plot tricks that are devised so that it still looks something.
And finally those American cities, not a tuft of green in sight… terrible!
In 1993 I might have given it a 4, but now I can't get further than a 2. Still it all looks nice and it is the ideal film for a drizzly Sunday afternoon, but the day after tomorrow we will all forget it again.
