The Alpinist plot
Marc-André Leclerc climbs alone, far from the spotlight. On remote mountain peaks, the free-spirited 23-year-old Canadian makes daring climbs on his own. Yet he draws little attention. Leclerc goes on an adventure without cameras and without rope. He cannot afford mistakes. Filmmakers Peter Mortimer and Nick Rosen want to make a film about Leclerc, but struggle to keep up with the climber. Together they embark on a historic adventure in Patagonia that will redefine free climbing.
