Pretty nice drama with a beautiful Kristen Wiig and a fine Bill Hader. The playback scene with the song from Starship - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now was absolutely brilliant.

The Skeleton Twins Nothing?s Gonna Stop Us Now Lip-Sync - YouTube Starship - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now - YouTube[/url ] So a film with a pretty intense theme, but just because of the close bond between brother and sister and after the scene with the playback I became really happy.

A catchy and enjoyable little film. I'm a big fan of Wigg anyway and especially of Hader. And they both play very well and also nice to see them doing something more serious. It's also not surprising that they have such a good chemistry together, so cleverly cast. The story is not very special but knows enough to captivate and the humor present fit well. Nice atmosphere too.

3.5*

Film about two people who do not go through life very happily and who actually have to look for the cause in their own characteristic shortcomings and who also realize this, but then still experience the difficulty of dealing with each other.

Pure drama comedy with sad passages but also feel-good moments (the playback scene is quite pleasant) punctuate the film.

The sarcastic humor comes mainly from the role that Bill Hader, very well played. Kristen Wiig also convinces and this in a film that has some lows in the first part. At those moments there is no music to support anything. After that it goes much better.
