The Singing Kid plot

"HIS BEST !"

The neurotic Al Jackson is a star on Broadway. Due to his loss of voice, Al sees a professional demise approaching him. Al leaves for the countryside to regain his vocal timbre and to reflect. While Al is recovering, he falls in love with peasant girl Ruth Haines, the beautiful aunt of precocious little Sybil Haines.
