The Secret Life of Words plot
Hanna is a mysterious, shy woman who works in a factory and has a boring life. By chance, Hanna ends up on an oil rig for a few days to take care of Josef, a man who has burned himself. On the oil rig, she meets all kinds of different people and finds that it is a life in itself, including events that no one wants to talk about.

Nurse and patient on an almost deserted oil rig .... and then the dragonfly danger lurks, but luckily the film manages to avoid this.
Beautiful characters, an atmosphere in a minor key, the great location and ultimately a firm punch in the stomach, which is also a big eye-opener.

Good film about a somewhat idiosyncratic woman who starts working as a nurse on an oil rig. A slow film that also starts rather slowly in which a bond is slowly formed between the two main characters, who both carry a secret with them. Two beautiful roles by Sarah Polley and Tim Robbins and it is their moments together that make up the best part of the film. A small 3.5 stars.
