The Oscar plot
"The breath-taking race for Hollywood's highest award!"
A heartless actor tries to reach the top in show business on the backs of others. Frank Fane (Stephen Boyd) is a well-known Hollywood star who tries to kick-start his career by winning an Oscar. He doesn't care that he has to go over dead bodies, even if it's one of his best friends, PR man Hymie Kelly (Tony Bennett). Fate, however, turns out to have a special surprise in store for him on the evening of the award ceremony.
