Spring Night, Summer Night plot
Jessica and Carl live with their parents, siblings, in a small town in southeastern Ohio. After a night out that got out of hand, Jessica becomes pregnant by Carl. While Carl has suddenly left, Jesscia does not reveal to her parents who the father is. Her father insists that she get married so that she doesn't raise the child alone, while suspecting another boy from the village of having impregnated Jessica.
