The beautiful Jane, a talented gymnast, was on her way to Olympic gold until an accident ruined her career. Twenty years later, Jane is trapped in a bad marriage and earns her money as a masseuse. A chance meeting changes her life. Jane is asked to take a course in aerial dancing, a Cirque du Soleil-like acrobatics, floating on long canvases. As she searches for balance in the exercises with young Serena, her mysterious fellow student, Jane's home life becomes increasingly unbalanced. High in the air, Jane and Serena seem to be deeply attracted to each other. When they decide to audition their act for a big show in Las Vegas, their feelings for each other are undeniable...
