The Crow Road plot

Seven years ago, Rory McHoan went to see his brother Kenneth. He never arrived. Despite an intensive police investigation, no trace of him has ever been found and he seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth. At his grandmother's request, Rory's cousin sets out to uncover the truth surrounding his uncle's disappearance. All he can find of him is a manuscript called "The Crow Road" and the knowledge that there are quite a few relatives who are deceased or passing away and have taken a dark secret with them.
