The Cinema Murder plot

Elizabeth Dalston wants nothing more than to be an actress. She is sent abroad by the wealthy financier Synvanus Power so that she can receive an education here. On her way to the boat that will take her back to New York, she sees Philip Romilly get into a fight with his brother Douglas. She thinks Philip is killing Douglas.
