Psychologist Dr. George C. Chapman and his assistant Radford arrive in a Los Angeles suburb in search of candidates for their research into female sexual habits. Four women apply: Sarah, a middle-aged woman having an affair. Teresa is a married woman who is in love with a football player. Naomi is an alcoholic nymphomaniac and Kathleen is a young widow who thinks she is frigid.
