Tango Argentino plot
Nikola is ten years old. His parents are born losers who only argue with each other. The father is a music teacher who performs at wedding parties to earn some extra money. The mother always took care of the family and never had a job. But now she is dissatisfied with that and wants to earn some money by helping single elderly people. She does their shopping and keeps their house clean, but it is becoming increasingly difficult for her to keep all the agreements. That's why she occasionally lets Nikola take over her duties. Nikola thus becomes the dear friend of a group of elderly people who place great trust in him. He gives them new energy and entrepreneurial spirit. And Nikola gets from them everything that his parents could never give him: time, understanding, love and warmth. Nikola's best friend becomes Julio Popovi?, a once renowned singer of Argentine tangos, the one with the longest breath of the group of elderly people. Nikola does everything he can to keep Julio out of the old people's home, against the wishes of his son.
