Silvestre plot
Godfather Rodrigo has fathered two daughters, one legitimately but the other out of wedlock. Their names are Silvia and Susana. Rodrigo grows old and then decides to marry Silvia to his neighbor, a wealthy nobleman, with the aim of securing and expanding his domain. After a short visit from the betrothed, Rodrigo goes to court to invite the king to the wedding. On his departure, he instructs not to open the doors of the house to any stranger. But one day a pilgrim passes by.
