Anchiporuno plot
"Freedom? What's that?"
If Kioko's apartment resembles a troll's subconscious on LSD, it's because its success has made this fashion star so unworldly that even Mariah Carey pales in comparison. After emptying her stomach in the toilets – following every self-respecting model – Kioko likes to eat her morning buttered rusk in thong while re-watching her defloration video. Today she receives Watanabe, the editor-in-chief of a magazine whose pages are quickly sticking together, for a praising interview. While waiting, Kioko humiliates her assistant with sadistic pleasure. In this game of perverse dominance, however, the roles can quickly turn.

Sono does it again.
Maybe I didn't have much faith in it beforehand. The image of the pinku is not unfamiliar to me and for young talent it is probably an interesting option, but even the films are rarely really worth watching. But Sono arrived at such a moment where he can actually make any movie interesting.
In any case, the low budget is visible. Visually great. The soundtrack is also good (but very typical for Sono) and even the acting is up to standard. Not always the case in these kinds of films. Already seen 3 out of 5 and this one definitely stands out.
It is also nice that Sono chooses this film to put some question marks about the whole misogenous storm in a teacup, I liked the final scene perhaps the best of the whole film. But those who just come for the usual Sono weirdness, will also be served twice as well here.

Pure art. What else should I call this video? The story doesn't really matter. It is therefore better to omit the subtitles. Only detracts from this beautifully designed erotic work that is visually perfect for framing. Also nice and sadistic now and then and Sono doesn't shy away from nakedness. And that Ami Tomite in the role of Kioko is quite impressive. I also thought the ending was very cool and the classical music by Offenbach and I thought Pachelbel suited it perfectly. I consider Anchiporuno, which at 76 minutes was not too short or too long, to be one of Sono's finest films.

Mediocre film in which a fashion star is interviewed in her apartment. For me largely inimitable (quite a lot of symbolism that I have eluded the meaning). Visually there is something to enjoy with beautiful costumes and bright colors (especially the final with the paint). Playing with reality also produces some entertaining moments.
