Nikkatsu's plan to revive their 'Roman Porno' series begins with Wet Woman in the Wind, the latest film from the director of Dororo and Moonlight Whispers. The plot revolves around the errant eccentric Shiori, a young woman who is rejected by Kosuke and then vows revenge. Of a sexual nature that is.

This film was referred to by John Milton in his review at Anchiporuno (2016) which makes me very curious but unfortunately this video ended in a big disappointment for me. The opening was good, but gradually boredom struck me. There was also nothing to enjoy visually. I also quickly got tired of the erotic scenes. All emptiness. No, but quickly forget this film, which cannot even remotely be compared to Sono's visually stunning Anchiporuno.

Playful video in the context of the “Nikkatsu Roman Porno Reboot” project. I especially like the goofy beginning. Especially towards the end, the sex scenes crowd out the drama and humor too much, but the film has enough funny moments to keep your attention. Not the best of this revival series, although Yuki Mamiya is a beautiful girl.

Kosuke doesn't know what hit him when the very handsome Shiori crosses his path. He may have thought it was a candid camera when Shiori undressed for him after she had just driven into the puddle. He looked around restlessly and then started running. The trend is immediately set, because she sticks to him like a bee to honey. But it turns out he can't resist the lure.
I'm following BBarbie on this one. The erotic scenes at the end may be fun, but the plot of the film is in the beginning. Light-hearted and amusing (the scene in the canal), intriguing and mysterious. Except that all fizzled out pretty quickly once the movie was halfway over.
I had never heard of that Roman porn series. So here it is, hopefully one day I'll find the other one too.
