Shongram plot

The bold journalist Sarah interviews the Bengali Karim from London on his deathbed, who tells his story so many years later. The man shares his terrible experiences during the Bangladesh struggle for independence in 1971 and tells how he fell in love with the Hindu Asha and how this complex relationship (he as a Muslim and she as a Hindu) was disrupted by the war and genocide that took place in his country.
