Shiosai plot
Lonely young man Shinji meets Hatsue, a beautiful pearl diver, on the beach and the two fall in love. However, Shinji has a rival for Hatsue's affections, Yasuo. Yasuo spreads nasty gossip about him and Hatsue's father forbids her from seeing Shinji. But when the boy rescues the passengers of Hatsue's father's boat, his luck in love begins to change.
