Laura Gordon, a young woman, has fallen in love with the young Wild Bill Smith, but she is unable to show her feelings because she is married and also has a baby. Her middle-aged husband, 'Duke' Gordon, is the owner of a traveling circus and is a really clumsy and tactless person. Laura and Duke find themselves in a precarious situation when a tiger escapes and invades their trailer. Despite Duke's frantic efforts, he is unable to chase the tiger away and the tiger manages to kill him. Then a fire breaks out and Laura hides her child from the tiger and the flames in the refrigerator and tries to flee the trailer.
