Shabondama plot
Izumi was once abandoned by his parents. Now he commits burglaries and targets the elderly and women. He is wanted by the police. On the run, he helps the injured elderly woman Suma in the mountains of Miyazaki Prefecture. He stays in her house for a while and initially wants to rob her too. The villagers think he is Suma's grandson and gradually he changes for the better.
