Secret Enemies plot
"Beautiful But... BEWARE! She may be one of Uncle Sam's SECRET ENEMIES"
On December 8, 1941, the day after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, New York hotel owner Henry Bremmer assumes that the Germans will declare war on the United States. He begs his lawyer and friend Carl Becker to use his influence to get his wife out of Germany. Therefore, while Carl travels to Washington-DC, Henry's driver Fred Blosser introduces his employer to the Nazi spy Dr. Woodford. Woodford offers Henry to help him if he decides to work for the Nazis. Henry initially refuses, but when Carl proves unable to help him, Henry gives in to Woodford's demands.
