Sariri plot

In La Lágrima, a mining town in the heart of the desert in northern Chile, women live under the strict rules of patriarchy. Sixteen-year-old Dina, pressured by an unwanted pregnancy, plans to escape. But when she discovers that her sister Sariri, five years younger than her, has just started her period, she must decide whether they will escape together through the desert.
