Rue du Retrait plot

In a drugstore in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, Isabelle, a successful businesswoman in her forties, comes across a grumpy old woman: Mado Bidois. When Isabelle sees the poor and polluted conditions in which she lives, she decides to help her. But that's not easy. Mado doesn't exactly live up to the ideal image of a sweet old lady: she has a downright pesky and moody character and is also too proud and suspicious to accept Isabelle's help. Yet Isabelle perseveres and manages to gain her trust.
