Right Cross plot

"He knows how to "treat 'em rough" in the Ring or in romance"

Johnny Monterez, an aging boxing champion, injures his hand during training and should really end his boxing career. However, Johnny has no intention of doing so and decides not to tell his promoter Sean O'Malley and his daughter, his girlfriend Pat. Instead, he signs a contract with another promoter, and when Sean dies shortly afterwards, Pat blames Johnny. Johnny, however, is unstoppable and steps back into the ring.
