Pure S plot

"Humour... in a black vein"

Four young heroin addicts search Melbourne for good quality drugs or "pure shit", as they call it. In 48 hours, a friend dies of an overdose, criminals defraud them and they are arrested by the police. They screw up a burglary, are chased by hooligans and one of them is sent to a methadone clinic. The quest for drugs is part farce and part tragedy, but it never ends.
